Texas Gut Health is a gastroenterology practice in Sachse, TX dedicated to treating every patient the way we would want our own family to be treated — with genuine care, clear communication, and clinical excellence.

Our Practice

Texas Gut Health was founded with a clear purpose: to provide expert gastroenterology care in a setting where patients feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. Located in Sachse, TX, our practice serves patients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, including Sachse, Murphy, Wylie, Plano, Garland, Rowlett, Richardson, Allen, McKinney, and Dallas.

Our founder, Dr. Jaison John, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified gastroenterologist who brings both advanced clinical training and a patient-first philosophy to every encounter. Dr. John completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he served as Chief Fellow, and his internal medicine residency at UT Austin Dell Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident. He holds dual board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

Texas Gut Health provides a comprehensive range of gastroenterology services and treats a wide spectrum of digestive conditions. Our services include:

  • Colonoscopy and colon cancer screening
  • Upper endoscopy (EGD)
  • ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
  • FibroScan (liver elastography)
  • Capsule endoscopy
  • Infusion therapy for IBD and other GI conditions
  • Hemorrhoid banding
  • Esophageal dilation

We evaluate and manage conditions including GERD and acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, colorectal cancer, fatty liver disease, celiac disease, hemorrhoids, and more.
